Winter Whites

I obviously do not follow the “no white after labor day” rule.  Personally, I think it is crazy to limit someone’s wardrobe like that.  It is important to remember that texture can make all the difference.  So while it probably would not be best to wear white linen and sandals in the middle of winter, if done in the right ways, white is AWESOME and can help create many wintery looks!

I found these pants at Nordstrom last Spring and am in love with them.  They are high-waisted and are so slimming.  I have been able to wear them for many different occasions, which is great because I would hate to limit them!  When I purchased this sleeveless coat, this look popped right into my mind because I love how the neutrals look together.  When creating a “winter white” look, think about adding chunky sweaters, wool and neutral accessories to help make your look feel warm and cozy, while rocking one of “summer’s” hottest colors!

Coat: White House Black Market (sold out similar here); Sweater: H&M (similar here); Pants: Chelsea28; Shoes: Jessica Simpson; Clutch: GiGi New York; Sunglasses: Dior
