The Ease of the Jumpsuit

In the warmer months, I always love a good romper.  They are so easy and comfortable, and can become many different looks with the right accessories.  A few weeks ago I was in Anthropologie and found this jumpsuit.  I did not hesitate at all to try it on because it would mean that I could extend my use of the romper/jumpsuit into the cooler months!  This piece is so comfortable and soft, I love wearing it.  I like how the top and bottom are different colors/fabrics because it really looks like two pieces!  It is so easy to wear, but only requires one quick (and easy) decision while getting dressed!

While it is still extremely warm in Louisiana, the light fabric and sleeveless look of this jumpsuit are great for our current weather.  As it begins to cool off though, adding a leather jacket is easy and helps transition this piece into the fall.  I strongly suggest investing in a “staple” leather jacket for fall and winter.  They can make the perfect addition to almost any outfit, immediately giving it a fall look.

I love the neutral colors of this romper because it allows me to be versatile with my accessories.  I could brighten the look with a bold bag and lip, or choose to keep things subtle.  For this look, I kept the neutral theme going, and put my favorite clutch to use.  I absolutely LOVE this clutch from GiGi New York and love how it goes with almost ANYTHING I wear.  My sweet husband gave this to me with my new initials on it, which I love because it has that personalized touch.  GiGi New York offers this clutch in many different colors and leather options, so it is fun to create exactly what you want.  I am trying to decide which one I want next!

That’s a great look! It’s definitely not what I expect when people say “Jumpsuit.” A friend of mine has been working in a mechanic shop, wearing one of those thick suits that repair people wear. I’ll have to keep in mind that they are more versatile and varied than I expected. Thanks!
