When looking at material/prints, denim is a go-to for me.  Leopard, leather and denim tend to fill my closet quickly, because they are easy to mix-and-match and create multiple looks with.  I absolutely love my chambray button downs because I can wear them with any color (or print) bottom.  (This one in particular is SO soft and comes in multiple shades and colors!)  As of late, I have actually loved the denim-on-denim look, especially denim with an edge.  These fringe denim pants from Topshopare so fun, and add the right amount of excitement to an otherwise simple look.

As fall slowly approaches, my wardrobe has begun its transition.  To be honest, my wardrobe is transitioning much quicker than the seasons, but I am patiently (or at least attempting to do it patiently) waiting for the cooler temperatures.  With that being said, once September rolls around, my heart is going to say sweaters, booties and fall accessories much sooner than the weather will allow.  In an attempt to please both my heart, and the Louisiana heat, I have tried to find pieces that can be both summer and fall items.  By finding these mix and match items, I can make this a somewhat smooth transition.  Warmer color tones and light sweaters will most likely appear first, but keep an eye out because there is much more coming your way!
