Is it sweater weather yet? It is finally November and I feel like I should wake up each morning to a cool, crisp chill but no, it is still warm and humid. We have had ALOT of rain, which also makes me think (and wish!) the temperatures will drop, but apparently that is not the case here in Louisiana. It is just muggy. With that being said, we have had a couple of evenings where the temps were cool and the air was crisp which allowed me to break out this awesome cowl neck sweater! I feel confident saying we are at least getting in to our sleeveless sweater weather and right now I will take what I can get!
I found this Free People sweater recently and was immediately drawn to it. I am loving the sleeveless sweater look right now and how I can wear them in the warmer weather, or add a jacket once the temperature finally drops. I love the oversized, relaxed feel of this particular sweater and thought it was perfect for those days when I wanted to be cozy, but could not break out my heavy sweaters. It is loose and allows for great ventilation, keeping me from getting overheated. The length is fun and I love pairing it with a variety of booties! It is also extremely soft!
My go-to skinny jeans are definitely both my black and denim J Brand jeans. I have always loved how J Brand fits, as well as how I can find options with a higher waistband. Yes, guilty, I love me some high-waisted jeans! My Marc Fisher booties (also worn here) are so comfortable, so I am wearing them almost any chance I can. It was an easy decision to pair them with this sweater, keeping everything neutral. To top it off, I added this felt fedora (I love a good hat!) from Club Monaco, which tied all of my neutral colors together.
I do not know how much more I can beg mother nature for cooler weather. I feel like I am wishing with all of my might, but I will keep it going until I see those colder temperatures roll in!
