As fall slowly approaches, my wardrobe has begun its transition. To be honest, my wardrobe is transitioning much quicker than the seasons, but I am patiently (or at least attempting to do it patiently) waiting for the cooler temperatures. With that being said, once September rolls around, my heart is going to say sweaters, booties and fall accessories much sooner than the weather will allow. In an attempt to please both my heart, and the Louisiana heat, I have tried to find pieces that can be both summer and fall items. By finding these mix and match items, I can make this a somewhat smooth transition. Warmer color tones and light sweaters will most likely appear first, but keep an eye out because there is much more coming your way!

I recently hit up Neiman Marcus Last Call(as you can see in my previous post), and found some great options for transitional tops. I love this burnt orange number and how the color will be perfect heading in to fall, but the open shoulders still hint to summer styles. It is light and flowy, which is great for the heat, and the ruffle details are so fun!
