For the Fourth of July weekend this year, Jon Luke and I went to Las Vegas. This was my first real trip to Vegas (I went when I was really young), so I was excited to see what it was all about. I went in to the trip with my own thoughts of the city, but definitely left with a new view and perspective. It is so lively, with so many exciting things to do! We are actually planning another trip this fall!

Our trip to Vegas was a quick one. We arrived late Friday night and left very early Monday morning. We went specifically to see Garth Brooks in concert on Saturday night, but also ended up seeing the Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil show. Both shows were AMAZING! Other than the shows, we wandered around town, taking in the sights, ate good food and played Top Golf. All around it was a great trip and I cannot wait to go back!
I knew it was going to be warm in Las Vegas so I wanted clothing options that would be light and airy. I found this dress at Nordstrom and loved the deep neckline. That is not my typical choice for a casual outfit, but I decided to go for it and I am so glad I did! I love this dress and how it looked with my gladiator sandals. I layered some fun jewelry with it and was ready for a day on the strip!
