Two of my favorite trends currently are flared jeans and fringe. The flare jean is flattering and helps to elongate my legs, while fringe helps to make my look more unique and fun. I have seen so many fun fringe pieces this fall, and love how this trend is making a come back! It is funny to hear my grandma say, “I should have kept my old clothes for you because they would all be in style now!” That is one of the things I love about fashion, it is always evolving and what was once “old” can become new again!
I found these high-waisted, flare jeans at Saks Fifth Avenue recently and have loved working them in to my wardrobe. They fit like a glove, and have the perfect amount of flare. The high-waisted feature is nice because I can pair them with the occasional crop top, or cropped sweater, to accentuate the waistline. For this look, I decided to go with a fringe crop top. You can definitely say that I stepped out of my comfort zone when purchasing this top (from Forever 21), but ended up loving it! It was the perfect touch for creating a fun look for a night on the town. The cropped look worked well with the high-waistband and the fringe was such a fun addition. I love being able to change up my normal look and get out of my comfort zone. It definitely makes things more exciting!
