This weekend a cold front came through, bringing us some crisp fall weather. While the front is not supposed to last long, I wanted to take full advantage when we decided to head to the Art Festival after church. I am so excited to break out my sweaters and boots this season, but eased into it on Sunday with a light cardigan and booties. This look was comfortable and easy going, but also kept me warm in that fall breeze.
Nothing says fall like a good wool hat in my opinion. I definitely feel that the right hat can finish off the perfect outfit, adding that extra touch. These booties have become a favorite of mine as well. Not long ago I snagged them on sale at Neiman Marcus Last Call and have been ready to break them out. Pairing them with this casual dress/sweater combo was perfect and helped tie my fall look together.
I have definitely become a fan of the midi dress. These dresses are versatile and make great transition pieces for the fall. This dress from Forever 21 is one I love because it is so soft and has a great fit. I felt like I was wearing a tee shirt all day! (Hence the name “Tee Shirt Dress”) I love the color and ease it has to it, and will be able to dress it up and down in the future. Finally, the long cardigan is a must for the fall weather. I will be able to create so many unique looks with this one (also on sale at Last Call), and love that it is not too heavy. I wish this fall weather would stick around, but for now I am going to hang on as long as possible!
