I have to say, there is just something about easy going neutral pieces. In my everyday wardrobe decisions, I tend to flock to items I can throw on and not have to think too much about. Comfortable sweaters in the fall, and simple tee shirts are right up my ally. Every now and then though, I like to take that easy style and extend it into my “going out” attire. In my book, comfort is key, but if I can look good AND be comfortable then that takes the cake!
Not long ago, I found this dress at Forever 21. If I have not said it before, Forever 21 is my go-to for basic pieces. I love that on almost any occasion I can leave the store with something in hand, and for a great price! This tee shirt dress is very comfortable and perfect for pairing with my boots as we transition to fall. I love how the simplicity of the dress helps to create a fun look with my over-the-knee boots, but each piece is also a classic item.
In keeping with the easy classics theme, my color choices also very classic. Black, grey and ivory are all over my closet, because can you really go wrong with these color choices? I say no! While I keptblack and grey with this outfit, I added my leopard clutch to give it a little something extra. I love the quote from Jenna Lyons, “As far as I’m concerned, leopard is a neutral.” I could not agree more with this statement! I love how my leopard pieces flow with my neutral color palettes, all while giving each look more life!
