Fall Decor

Growing up my parents were always so good about decorating for the holidays. I loved our pumpkin filled front porch and the massive Christmas tree and stockings. I could always count on the house looking impeccably put together, no matter what time of the year. Well, fast forward to when I finally had my own house…and I am terrible about decorating! I never thought I would be which is so funny to think, so this year I decided to change. I have turned a new leaf. Maybe it is the baby and me wanting to start traditions for our family, or maybe I just got excited, but I’ve started with some pumpkins people. Yep. Our front porch is FULL and I am SO pleased. But with that being said, y’all know I had to get aesthetically pleasing pumpkins because the bright orange is not my vibe. But I found them and I am obsessed.

So in addition to our front porch pumpkins, I have added some neutral fall decor around the house as well. Last year I purchased a variety of velvet pumpkins from a local store here in Baton Rouge (I will link some similar ones I found!) for a long bowl on my island. I eventually moved that bowl from the island to the dining room so I have decided to place my pumpkins all over the kitchen and living room this year. Of course, all of my pumpkins are neutral colored and match my house (yes, I am crazy) so all of the things I purchased in addition had to be neutral as well. I am very simple when it comes to decorating the house, but I rounded up some of my favorite neutral fall decor here!

Halloween Decor (if I were to decorate for Halloween)

Hopefully this provided a little inspiration for you when it comes to neutral fall decor! I know not everyone is in to the neutral vibe but if that is something you are looking for, then I got you. But really, whatever your vibe is, have fun and get creative! It is such a fun season so take this time and enjoy it! Happy Fall Y’all!
