Fall Florals

Happy Friday everyone!  Can you believe it is almost the end of October?? I feel like fall is flying by and before we know it, it will be Christmas!  Today, I am wrapping up my 70’s vibes week with one of my favorite looks.  Along with the flared pants and fringe, a 70’s trend that is back on the scene are easy going florals.  Tunic dresses, bell sleeves and beautiful floral prints have been given new life and can be see all over right now!  I found this dress at Free People and immediately thought it would be great for the cooler months.  The colors scream fall and the beautiful swing of the dress is perfect for pairing with boots and booties when transitioning into cooler weather.  I could not wait to break it out!

I had been on the hunt for the perfect floral tunic/swing dress for a while.  I knew I wanted something I would be able to pair with my boots, but it had to be the right combination.  This dress is so comfortable and feels great even when it is slightly warmer right now.  The long sleeves and rich color tones give it a fall feel, but I don’t get over heated while trying to dress for fall in our summer heat (yep still in the 80s and 90s here).  When I first purchased this dress I ordered my original size and it fit more like a shirt.  I ended up going two sizes up because I wanted a dress and voilà!  It was perfect!
