I have always loved a good poncho. The ease and comfort draw me in and makes me want to wrap myself up in whatever I can find. I have a variety of ponchos that I have put to good use this fall, including some with fringe (here) and some more classic pieces (just ordered this one). I tend to flock to solid color ponchos, so when I saw this plaid number at Forever 21 I decided to step out of my comfort zone.
I found this poncho at Forever 21 and wanted to give it a shot. I love the colors and the plaid print, so I thought it would be perfect paired with my black boots. This poncho has a thin leather trim around the edges which I felt helped to create a nicer look.
I paired this poncho with a basic white long sleeve tee shirt, leggings and my over-the-knee boots. What I love is how comfortable it all is! I could be out on the town, traveling, or on a date night and I would be in a constant state of comfort. That is what is so great about this poncho/cape trend. They are easy, comfortable and warm and they come in a variety of colors and prints! Here are some others I absolutely love!
