It is slowly beginning to warm back up here in Louisiana, but we are still in that awkward in between stage. During the day we will reach highs of 75 degrees, but in the evening it can get as cool as 40 degrees. As always, this Louisiana weather is my favorite! (can you sense the sarcasm??) Sometimes I just want to up and move somewhere that has four distinct seasons, but then I am reminded that it is not that easy, nor should my life revolve around the weather. So for now, I make the most of it and mix all of my wardrobes together while Mother Nature is still figuring things out!

I have loved being able to wear this suede skirt throughout the entire year (I guess that is one of the good things about our warmer weather), and have been able to create multiple looks with it. A few months back I paired it with my black over-the-knee boots (seen here) and love how it looked. I quickly decided I wanted to create a new look with my burgundy boots and knew this skirt would be perfect!
