In the recent years, I have become a huge fan of the pencil skirt. Maybe it is because I wear them on a day-to-day basis for work, or maybe my fashion sense has matured. I am not really sure, but regardless, I have been naturally migrating towards pencils skirts of all colors and prints. Something great about these silhouettes is the fact I can wear them in a business setting, or spice them up for a night out!

A few weeks back I found this set and could see myself wearing it to a variety of events. I love how the top and skirt give the illusion of a dress, but really I am able to mix and match each piece! The fit of the skirt is perfect and I have been able to pair it with blouses for work, but have also worn it with the matching crop top when I am able to spice things up. With the large ruffle detailing, the top has the perfect amount of sass to it, without revealing too much, which allows me to get a lot of wear out of this look!
