When the Louisiana heat takes over, my desire to get dressed slowly diminishes. I will admit, I do not enjoy being hot and sticky and my clothing plays a large role in that. As I have said many times before, the humidity here in Louisiana is REAL. Like really real. It is unlike anything I have ever experienced so really, I have had to get used to that sticky feeling. But with that being said, I have slowly added pieces to my closet that help in that heat and this wrap dress is definitely a perfect option.

This wrap dress is the perfect option for our summer heat. It is lightweight and SO incredibly soft. It is almost like I am wearing pajamas, which who wouldn’t love that? No but in all seriousness, I love this dress. The blush color is perfect and it is a fun option for when it is too warm for pants! Showing just the right amount of leg, the wrap feature is something different and adds a little dimension to the dress. For this look I paired it with my utility jacket from Madewell, but it is also easy to wear on its own!
