I can remember a day when I used to follow the “fashion rules” hard core. I was terrified to wear white after labor day, brown and black could not be worn together, and there was no such thing as a spring bootie. Well thankfully I have opened my mind to some new thoughts because I honestly do not know what I would have done this weekend in Charleston. Truth be told, I finally started to go easy on myself in college because I had a pair of white jeans that I loved. So naturally, when the weather was warm enough, my white jeans were out. Now though, not only have a busted out white jeans, but ya girl wore white shoes AND a white leather jacket this past weekend in Charleston. I could not be happier about that decision and you know I am not going to wait another month to break them out again!

I first saw these Vince mules in black and thought they were cute. Then I saw the white pair and was IN LOVE. I mean, the white took them to the next level IMMEDIATELY, and I had to have them. I wanted a unique look for these cute slides and thought this moto jacket was just what I needed. Paired with a simple pair of trousers, I love how this look came together in the end. It was the perfect combination of colors, but the white accessories truly took it to another level!
The other great thing about these mules is they are SO comfortable! When I tell you I was all over Charleston this weekend, I truly mean that these shoes were put to work. I wandered the streets, rode bikes and even wore them on the boat. No matter where I was, or what I was doing, my feet were comfortable and they looked good (which is a plus!). So needless to say, whether you are a white shoe person, or enjoy the classic black, I definitely recommend these mules for Spring!
