I can remember the days of waking up at 7:50 am for my 8 am class. Yep, there were definitely times when I was that kid. I tried my best not to be because I like to feel like I am organized, but you know…sometimes a girl just wants to sleep. But, while there were a few times I slept in, I would say for the most part, I liked to get up, get ready, grab a coffee and slowly make my way to class. It was these days that became my favorite because they started off on the right foot. You know what I mean? So continuing the spirit of back to school this week, I thought I would round up some easy and casual looks that you can throw on for class. Whether you are a late sleeper, or an early riser, all of these looks can be quick and easy…and comfortable for class!
Outfit #1
There were definitely a lot of times that I just wanted to throw on sweat pants and roll. I can always remember my mom telling me that I wouldn’t find a boyfriend that way (and she was probably right haha), but I slowly started to realize that sweatpants can easily be a cute look. Nowadays, “athleisure” is such a common look, that a cute pair of sweats is just what you would need for class! This star print set from Z Supply is perfect for lounging in your dorm after a long day, but is also super comfy for when your schedule is packed with classes!
Outfit #2
In continuing with the “athleisure” style, you can always dress up your joggers. Don’t want to go the true sweatpants route? That okay! Find yourself a cool pair of joggers, like these from Albion Fit, and you can easily go from class, to errands, to dinner. I love this style because I can throw on a cute pair of sneakers and a graphic tee and I am ready to roll. In case your classroom is cold, grab your denim jacket and you will be good to go. And one of the things I love about these pants is that you can really dress them up or down!
Outfit #3
So from my personal experience, I really did like to get some what “cute” for class. On days where I went straight from class to meet up with friends, I would put looks together that could easily transition from one thing to the next. Cue the sweater skirt and tee shirt dress. I LOVE how easy and versatile these are. Not only are both options comfortable but they are cute with sneakers and a tee shirt or I could easily throw on a blouse and booties! I don’t have to look like I tried to hard but at the same time I feel really good!
Outfit #4
I have to say, my go-to look for class was probably a comfortable pair of jeans and cute top. Once I found the right pair of denim, I could pretty much style it however I wanted to, which was the best. Throw on some sneakers and a cute sweater, or boots and a moto jacket, I was ready for all seasons and all of my classes. I was pretty much always cold in class, so this look was an easy one to help my stay warm, but also look put together!
Outfit #5
If you go to school in the south, it is hot right now. I get it. You almost don’t want to get cute because you are just going to get sweaty walking to and from class. Well it is easy to work around that with a denim skirt and a graphic tee! Also a comfortable option for long days in class, you can probably avoid the heat too. Once you invest in a good denim skirt, you can easily style it for a night on the town so you get more bang for your buck also!
Hopefully this gave you a little inspo for class if you were unsure of what to wear. Just remember, the same way you would have fun with a look when going out, do the same thing for class! Express your personality and style, no matter what you choose to wear and you will feel confident everyday. Good luck in all of your classes this year!
