As temperatures begin to slowly warm up, I have been putting away the heavy sweaters and pulling some of my shorter items back out. It is always during this time of the year that I am trying to find those perfect transitional pieces that I could wear if another cold front decides to come through. But naturally here in Louisiana, I usually need to be able to endure the heat and humidity. It can be a challenge because one day will be sunny and 80 degrees, while the very next is storming, then the very next is 40 degrees. Happens all the time around March so I try to stay prepared.
Sweater | Skirt (old similar here and here, also love this one) | Boots | Sunglasses
This suede skirt became a go-to item in my closet the day I purchased it. I love pairing it with my over-the-knee boots (flat or heeled) and a sweater for an easy going look when the temperatures are low. As things begin to heat up though, I am able to ditch the boots and add a cute pair of mules to my look and the skirt will still work. It is a great transitional piece so I never pack this one up!
