Y’all, this week has been SO many things. Good things! But super busy. And don’t get me wrong, I love being busy (as I have said before), but currently I am sitting on the couch in my sweat pants, with a glass of wine and I LOVE IT. I know I do this to myself and I tend to overcommit but I have always said I would rather be busy than bored. Well now, I think I would rather be bored than busy! It is just so nice to sit and relax. Can you really blame a girl?

So one of my favorite things to buy are shoes, and to be more specific, statement shoes. I love them. Heels, booties and even sneakers…if they make a statement, I’m in. Well, these Sam Edelman booties do just that and I am OBSESSED. I love these booties. The velvet combined with the beautiful shade of blush make them absolutely perfect. Whether I decide to pair them with ripped denim or a dressier look, they really do take my look to the next level. For this look specifically, I love how they looked with my satin Free People blazer. It was like they were made for each other! Perfect for date night, a night on the town or time with the girls, I love how this look came together. These booties and blazer take these basics to a whole other level and I love it!
